The first thing you could do to get back again is to forgive yourself.
By forgiving yourself, you learn. By being kind to yourself, you heal.
Sometimes, it’s easier to just go-go-go when pressure is looming before you and that’s fine, too. Take time to reflect, however. Give yourself that space you need to think and feel and be in the present, knowing that it is all you have.
Worrying and thinking about the future does not serve you anymore.
Doing what you can today is your gift to your future self.
For the past two weeks, I haven’t been posting anything on my blog, vlog, and podcast. I had all the content ready. I was just about to publish all of them when I remembered this lesson about reflection.
I was constantly go-go-go, thinking of how I should be consistent if I wanted my dreams to manifest.
My body, on the other hand, was telling me it has had enough.
More than 2 weeks ago, I had been posting daily on all the platforms. I was trying to put the word out for my new ebook.
And I never gave myself the time and space to rest.
When I went back to work on my weekly content, I felt that what I did was mediocre at best. I was not impressed. And I reminded myself of this:
You could do better and yet you can’t do that if you don’t treat yourself better.
And so I urge you to re-think and re-feel. To reflect. What you have now is really all there is. Tomorrow can wait.
